Tianshui Forest Information Centre and Trail, Gansu, China

We are thrilled to announce that together with our partners ANDA, we have been appointed to design a new Forest Information Centre in China.  The centre willl educate children aged 6-16 years about the importance of forests in the ecosystem.  It is thought to be one of the first environmental education centres in China and a landmark project.  It is situated in Tianshui, a large city in Gansu, a province in North West China. Hop, skip and a jump

How do you explain to kids the threats posed to wild animals by habitat destruction? The answer, obviously, is to make a playground game of it! Working closely with the client team at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, we designed a snakes-and-ladders-style game in which kids play the part of animals trying to move along habitat corridors from one fragment of habitat to another.
