Content: The ‘Falmouth For Orders’ gallery explores the town’s historic significance as Britain’s first and last port. The exhibition tells this fascinating story through a timeline frieze, interactives, a touchscreen and audio designed around artefacts, including a telegraph machine and harbour master’s log. The journey through the town’s maritime history is due to be continued in another phase which looks at how the port has been used in recent times.
