Peak District Geology

When the National Trust asked us to interpret the geology of The Peak District, we took a prominent local figure, one Wilfred Jackson, and made his very desk the centrepiece of an in-depth, elegant and rewarding touchscreen experience.

Users have the freedom to root around drawers, interact with specialist geological equipment and flick through Jackson’s notebooks to discover the fascinating geological processes that created the Peak District. All the items on the desk can be explored, with layered content allowing users to find out as much, or as little, as they want to.
