Annie WalshAdmin & Finance Manager Having been an active full-time Project Manager for 14 years, Annie now spends most of her time managing Imagemakers itself, ensuring that the company has all the right support systems in place to meet day-to-day challenges. She also assists the New Business Team and supports the Project Managers with project planning, creative brainstorming, research and copywriting as required. |

Charlie CurnowNew Projects & Production Director Charlie leads the new business side of Imagemakers. This exciting role involves carrying out initial site appraisals at some of the world’s most amazing heritage sites and museums, and working closely with the Imagemakers design team to prepare fully costed creative proposals. He is also a highly experienced project manager with technical and procedural knowledge drawn from 25 years’ experience working for a number of highly regarded creative consultancies. Passionate about what we do, Charlie is a Full Member of the Association for Heritage Interpretation (AHI), an Interpret Britain and Ireland Awards judge, a former committee member (Secretary and Fundraising Advisor) for the AHI and a member of SPAB (Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings). |

Matthew JonesProject Manager & Consultant Matthew has been a central part of the Imagemakers team since 2000. He has extensive experience of interpretive planning, creative copy / script writing and community consultation and has a good knowledge of interpretive media, materials and the logistical aspects of project management and delivery. He enjoys the challenge of getting to grips with new stories and projects and places considerable emphasis on building positive working relationships with all his clients. He is comfortable and familiar with a diversity of themes from geology and wildlife to industrial and religious heritage, and has envisioned and delivered numerous innovative solutions in different arenas, from museums and visitor centres to historic properties and exterior sites. |

Phil SonghurstProject Manager & Consultant Phil joined Imagemakers in 2008 following an exciting and varied career path through education, leisure and tourism. This included project managing the design and build of the dynamic visitor centre at Attenborough Nature Reserve for Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, which was named in the top ten eco-destinations in the world in 2006. He combines a lifetime’s passion for heritage and the environment with extensive practical and ‘people’ skills to efficiently manage a wide variety of interpretation projects and holds a detailed working knowledge of design materials, production methods and fabrication processes. |

David MastersProject Manager & Consultant David brings wide-ranging experience of interpretive planning, implementation, research and evaluation to Imagemakers, working for clients throughout the UK, Europe, Africa and South America. A specialist interpretive planner and copywriter, he has produced advisory and best practice guidelines for the Heritage Lottery Fund; delivered numerous workshops, lectures and seminars; and edited the award-winning Interpret Scotland journal. He is also Commissioning Editor of the Interpretation Journal, the ‘best practice’ publication of the Association of Heritage Interpretation (AHI). |

Janette HemingwayProject Development Manager Originally joining Imagemakers in 2001 as an administrator, Janette now has full responsibility for day-to-day office management. Paul DaviesDigital Media Manager Paul started his career as a psychologist and has successfully combined his skills with design training to create interactive solutions that educate, persuade and entertain. Paul joined Imagemakers in 2011 and leads on digital innovation and engagement, focusing on how new technologies can enhance people’s learning experience. He has created digital projects for the likes of BT, GE Healthcare, Barclays as well as numerous Heritage Lottery Fund projects. In 2010 Paul founded the online magazine ¡Design Thinkers! as an outlet to discuss how design, psychology and technology work together to create an absorbing experience. Paul regularly speaks at events on the use of interactive technologies and is the current Chair of the Cornwall Design Forum. |

Sue CoghlanLead Designer Sue thrives on design challenges. She is skilled in a wide range of software packages including InDesign and Illustrator and loves having a mix of projects on the go. Having worked in the fashion and advertising industries for many years Sue is very intuitive as to what clients are looking for and what will work. She leads the creative development of graphic design that we use in our heritage projects in all formats and ensures that the team is working with the most up-to-date and relevant design packages. When Sue is not at Imagemakers she likes to bake cakes. She can also be found running around Devon with the local running club (presumably to run off all those cakey calories) |

Gavin LeechDesigner & Illustrator Gavin joined Imagemakers back in 2001 after completing his BA (Hons) in Graphic Design & Illustration at the University of East Anglia, and has played an important role in the company’s development ever since. Tim CartwrightDesigner Tim joined Imagemakers in 2006 after completing a BA (Hons) in Typography at Plymouth University. Since then Tim has developed into a key member of the studio team, producing innovative interpretive graphics and broadening his skills to become an accomplished audio producer. Recent examples of his expressive design style include the striking graphics at Roe Valley Country Park and Ness Country Park for the Northern Ireland Environment Agency, and Shorne Woods Visitor Centre in Kent. |

Chris MitchellDesigner & Illustrator Chris has a wealth of experience across the design sector, covering conceptual two and three-dimensional design, museum galleries, exhibitions, models and graphics for exterior and interior environments. Liz NelstropMarketing Manager Liz joined Imagemakers in January 2011 to spearhead our marketing and support new business development. She has worked as a Brand Manager in London where she co-ordinated the launch of a new sports drink, as Marcomms Manager for the action sports brand Gul and more recently as a project manager at a leading design agency in the South West. She enjoys the challenges of making brands ’stand out’ and creating innovative marketing on a tight budget. At Imagemakers, Liz will be providing bespoke marketing solutions for our clients as well as being responsible for our in-house PR and marketing including attending exhibitions and events and putting Imagemakers projects forward for awards. |

Simon YoungAssistant Interpretive Planner/Project Manager Simon joined Imagemakers in January 2011 after completing an MA in Museum Studies at Newcastle University’s International Centre for Cultural and Heritage Studies, during which time he opted to specialise in Interpretation and Exhibitions. He has a passion for innovative interpretation, and chose to write his MA dissertation on this subject. He has worked as a volunteer with a number of heritage organisations in the north east including the Tyne & Wear Archives and Museums and also had an internship at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. |

Emily FengOffice Liaison Manager, Beijing Emily joined Imagemakers in May 2011. She is based in Beijing, establishing our presence there and co-ordinating tenders and projects with Chinese and International partners. The Chinese are very excited about their heritage and Emily will be playing an increasingly vital role as Imagemakers integrates into the growing museum and heritage sector. Having an efficient Liaison Manager with excellent translation skills is a real bonus for us. |

She has spearheaded the development of an online retail store and various online marketing campaigns.
